K and A are their present ages
K - 4 = 2 (A - 4)
K = A + 6
substituting ... A + 6 - 4 = 2 A - 8
solve for A, then substitute back to find K
K - 4 = 2 (A - 4)
K = A + 6
substituting ... A + 6 - 4 = 2 A - 8
solve for A, then substitute back to find K
