2.0 WHAT long tube. feet, inches, cm, miles? I will assume 2 meters.
Let distance NH3 travels = x
Then HCl travels 2.0-x
rate NH3 = x/time
rate HCl = 2-x/time
time NH3 = time HCl so
(x/t)/(2-x/t) = sqrt(36.5/17)
Solve for x and 2-x
