Would one of the others be gas that what i was originally thinking, the other must be oil. I wonder why there's only one answer because that confuses me.

Thank you now i understand a little better, so i see where it said gas and oil so i think we can count petroleum out right? So how do i know which of the those to two to pick?

You should contact your instructor about this. There is only one renewable resource on that list: corn. The others are non-renewable.
