Use the complement to find each probability.
What is the probability of not rolling a 5 on a standard number cube?
My answer is 1/6 since there are 6 faces
Is this correct and if not can you explain on how to do this?
Thank you

Think about it. If you rolled the number cube, you'd probably NOT get a 5.

    The probability of rolling a 5 is 1/6 1 out of 6.
They are saying to figure out the complement. What do they mean by this?

Hello Ms. Sue. I looked at website now that gave me more of an explanation. Complement is the opposite so 5 out of 6 would be the answer.
