If a body of 4.5kg falls freely from rest for 2seconds before it strike the ground. Calculate the maximum kinetic energy a body will gain

If this is near earth surface then g = about 9.8 m/s^2
v = a t = 9.8 * 2 = 19.6 m/s

Ke = (1/2) m v^2 = (1/2)(4.5)(19.6)^2 Joules
