Just need some help. My teacher likes to throw in advice on each problem, but they confuse me more. On this one he said multiply by 3 since volume is given. I know my formula is V=1/3bh, but does his advice mean multiply the base ×3 and then plug in to my formula? I'm confused on what to multiply by 3. Thank you for any help.

The volume of a square pyramid is 75 cubic feet. The base area is 15 square feet. What is the height of the pyramid?

solving the formula for h ... h = V / (1/3 b)

dividing by 1/3 is the same as multiplying by 3 ... h = 3 V / b
