there's no equation.
And, there's not much to do, since
x^2-6x+9 = (x-3)^2
I suspect you have left something out...

It should be x^2-6x+9=0

well, just plug in
(x-3)^2 = 0
x = 3
(x-3)^2 = 0
x = 3
