I am supposed to write a small research paper identifying the linguistic, political, social, economic, religious and familial conventions and or status of 4 Hispanic groups living in the US. I have to write on Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans and then pick 2 other choices. And conclude with summarizing major differences and commonalties apparent among these groups.
BUT I do not understand what I am writing about, the reading material I have been provided talks little about each topic and each topic is not discussed in every group. Any help explaining this would be helpful.
Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. The first site is about the 3 major Hispanic Groups. If you use Google (search engine) you can obtain more information about each group.

Generally Hispanics are classified as ONE group. Although they will all speak Spanish, there is a difference of pronunciation, vocabulary; these are called regional differences, primarily. All Spanish-speaking countries are predominantly Catholic.
