It could be a solutions, but it reminds me of a scatter-brained explaination which goes places unknown.
Often, there is a better solution: make certain the supporting arguments support the thesis. C could work, if it is in fact a matter of clarity, but all the essays I have read, D is more likely to work: often folks bring up points (sentences) that have nothing to do with the argument. They are better off making the points focus on the thesis.
