Rain: From the standpoint of solutions what processes lead to rain fall or other forms of atmospheric precipitation?

Water vapor, air, dust, pollen, etc, form a mixture which is a solution. As the air cools the solution becomes saturated with respect to H2O and at some point it comes out of solution.
