I want to learn how to do the American "square dance." Would anyone here be willing to teach me how to square dance like American cowboy?
Hello again,
This is related to my last post on vocabularly. My American friends tells me that the caveman is not necessarily a man, but could be a woman as well. Is this correct? If so, why is he called a caveMAN?
Without stirring up a PC discussion, 'man' or 'men' is added to or included in many words to indicate the species or to refer generally to humans both male and female, rather than being male.
Here are some websites that may help. It's been WAY too long since I did this to be able to help anyone else learn!

Click on ENTER and then on the different items in the list on the left. There will be animations and drawings to help. This is also a sales site, so be careful not to click on anything that would result in buying a CD or whatever!

Those are the main ones that have information without being (too) commercial.
=)
KungLi, suggestion, see if there is a square dance club in your area. If so, look into the possibility of joining it. Square dancing is great fun and a wonderful group activity. You really can't learn to do it from reading about it or on line... It is a participatory activity!
