This was about 2000 years before Leyster.
i need to write about the first established female artist, at what point she became recognized, and some of the ways her talents were encouraged throughout her life.
first i need to make sure if its Judith Leyster. if it is then i know that her work got discovered when officials at Louvre museum were cleaning a work that everyone thought was painted by Frans Hals. they saw that the signature on the painting belonged to a women...i need help getting more information. :)
