this is what i have so far for my question about the relationship between Baroque style and the Counter Reformation.
"The Counter Reformation was an attempt by the Catholic Church to allure people back and to regain its former power. Art played a key role in this movement to beat out heresy and persuade people to return to the church. A style appeared that had dramatic style and dynamic movement;Baroque art. This was a style characterized by movement, vivid contrast, and emotional intensity"
but it still doesnt really tell the connection between them.

Was Baroque art used to help lure (not allure) people back to the Church? If so, that's the connection.
