Solve for x

I'm really stuck on this one too, thank you for your help

2)x = -6
3)x= 0.0000 - 6.0000 i
4)x= 0.0000 + 6.0000 i

LOL !!! sqrt 1296 = 36

2x+4 = x

36^(2x+4) = (square root of 1296)^x
36^(2x+4) = 36)^x
2x+4=x
x=-4

check: 36^(-8+4)=36^-4

checks ok. Am I missing something here?
