If you have studied about the Holocaust, you probably don't have to read up on it. (If you haven't read much about it, you need to!)

A journal is written by someone who is living through something. You'll need to pretend you are a person (young person, mother, father, grandparent, or ??) living through this terrible time, and write about what is happening from his/her perspective.
