Room temperature is often assumed to be 25 Celsius. Calculate the molar volume of an ideal gas at 25 Celsius and 1 atm pressure.
Answer is 24.5L, Im trying to figure out how they got the answer. Help??

Use the ideal gas equation:
PV = nRT
n = number of moles = 1
P = Pressure = 1 atm
T = Temp. = 298K
R = 0.082 (when volume is in liter)
=> V = (nRT)/P
= (1*0.082*298)/1
= 24.5 L
PV = nRT
n = number of moles = 1
P = Pressure = 1 atm
T = Temp. = 298K
R = 0.082 (when volume is in liter)
=> V = (nRT)/P
= (1*0.082*298)/1
= 24.5 L
