Don't understand how to solve this problem:
12. A, B, C, and D are points on a line, and the lengths of the line segments are: AB = 12, BC = 4, CD = 7, and DA = 15. Which of the following is a possible order for the points?
A.A,B,C,D
B. A,C,D,B
C. A,D,C,B
D. A,C,B,D

since AD=15 and AB=12, I'd say you have

A-12-B-3-D

Now, if C is 4 to the left of B, we have

A-8-C-4-B-3-D

So, choice (D)
