Mr. VanNevel makes rectangular glass aquariums with glass tops. The aquariums measure 12 in by 6 in by 8 in. a.) draw a net and find the total surface area

just unfold the sides and add up the areas of the rectangles.

L = 12 in.
W = 6 in.
h = 8 in.

As = 2(W*h) + 2(L*W) + 2(L*h) = Surface area.
