Na2O + HOH ==> 2NaOH

REMEMBER, metal oxides added to water form bases. NaOH is a base. Non-metal oxides added to water form acids. An example is SO3 + H2O ==>H2SO4

That assumes, of course, that the metal oxide or non-metal oxide is soluble in water.
