find the approximate side lenght of a square with an area of 160in^2 to the nearest whole inch

pls explain how u got the answer, i don’t understand :/

Area = length times width

Since a square has four equal sides, take the square root of 160 in.

The square root of 160 = 12.649 = 13 inches
