ok, i typed it out right this time.

Question

(5/4)x+(1/8)x=11/8+x

(10/8)x+(1/8)x=11/8+x
(11/8)x=11/8+x
(3/8)x=11/8
Ok now I subtracted from both sides

How do I finish the problem out?

multiply each side by 8/3
x = 11/8 * 8/3
x = 11/3
