Hello! Please help!

The dashed triangle is a dilation image of the solid triangle with the center at the origin. Is the dilation an enlargement or reduction? Find the scale factor of the dilation.

The solid triangle has the points A(-6,0) B(6,5) and C(6,-6).

The dashed triangle has the points A1(-2,0) B1(2,1) and C1(2,-2)

I already know that this is a reduction, so please help me find me find the scale factor! Thank you!

the scale factor is just the factor used to multiply the coordinates.

-2/-6 = 1/3

I think B has a typo. Its ratio is 1/5 instead of 1/3

Thank you! B is actually supposed to be (6,3), thank you for pointing that out!
