to find this:
= 32 x 8 (multiply by 8 because you have an 8 hour shift)
= 256

then:
= 1483 - 256 (original - 8h shift fans)
= 1227

therefore, 1227 fans will be left in the warehouse at the end of your 8 hour shift.
