There were not cures for Spanish flu, which apparently has not reappeared since the advent of antibiotics during WWII. Even today, various flu strains can't be cured, although secondary infections respond to antibiotics.

Any cures or anything that could help someone affected?

There were no cures in 1918; I'm sure people are working on vaccines, but you'd have to do lots of research to find out ... and even then you may not be able to find out since pharmaceutical companies don't often publicize their work until it's proven effective.
