Parallel lines l and m are cut by transversal t. If the interior angles of the same side of t be (3x+4) and (2x-9), SOLVE FOR THE VALUE OF X.

since the angles are supplementary, you have

3x+4 + 2x-9 = 180

5x-5 = 180
5x = 175
x = 35
