A shop-keeper sells onions at Rs 24, Rs 30 and Rs 42 a kilogram, selling the different kinds in quantities proportional to 1: 1: 3. If the total quantity sold be 60 kg, the average price obtained for each kg is:

total cost = x(24) + x(30) + 3x(42) = 180x
avg cost = 180x/(5x) = 36
