why was the list of the seven wonders of the world revised in the middle ages ? A:the scholars in the middle ages wanted to add structures the greeks hadnt known about. First of all, the original Seven Wonders didn't change. There have been many variations and new ideas about the world's wonders, but the original is still the same.
