x(t) = -12cos(t/2) + c
given: when t = 0 , x(0) = 1
1 = -12cos(0) +c
c =-12
so x(t) = -12cos(t/2) - 12
when x = π
x(π) = -12cos(π/2) - 12
= 0 - 12
