no idea. what does R have to do with u and r? Is R=r' ? If so, then
#1: R = r' = u-r = {2,4,6,...}
#2 u-r = {...-4,-2,0,2,4,...}
#1: R = r' = u-r = {2,4,6,...}
#2 u-r = {...-4,-2,0,2,4,...}
