You are purchasing four items and want to calculate the tax. The items cost $2.50, $8.75, $3.00, and $10.25. The tax rate is 6%. How much is the tax? Write in distribution property and without.
It is right for distributions property. (2.50+8.75+3.00+10.25)=24.50x0.06=1.47

here are the answers:.06(2.50 + 8.75 + 3.00 + 10.25)
= .06(2.50) + .06(8.75) + .06(3.00) + .06(10.25)
= 24.50 then subtract 25.97-24.50=1.47
1.47 is what you saved! The first one was distribute the next is not distribute
2.50+8.75+3.00+10.25=24.50
24.50*1.06=25.97
25.97-24.50=1.47
Then you saved 1.47
Here are the answers if you ever need me again say #Lost I will be here!

1. add all the original prices together
2.50+4.95+6.00=13.45
2. multiply that sum(13.45) by 0.2(0.2 IS THE 20% OFF)
13.45x0.2=2.69

Hey Joe I have the right answer👌 here you go
Now write it exactly like this😎
(With distributive property)
0.2(2.50+4.95+6.00)=
0.2×2.50+0.2×4.95+ 0.2+6.00=
1.345+1.345=
2.69
(Without distributive property)
0.2(2.50+4.95+6.00)=
0.2×13.45=
2.69
Your welcome guys hope this helps and please look and try to figure out the formula it's easy once you get the hang of if but until then just work at it☺️👌😎💪🌊 love ya guys 😉

The school’s soccer coach is providing his team with new uniforms: a jersey, a pair of shorts, and shin guards. One jersey costs $15, one pair of shorts costs $11, and a set of shin guards costs $8. How much does each uniform cost per team mate?
it was easy and quick i thought of it bc i was doing this after my younger brother's(they/them) soccer game they are 7 and their team
