Question

Jane has three boxes she needs to ship. Box X weighs kg more than Box Y and Box Z weighs kg more than Box Y. She measured the total weight of all the boxes and it was found to be kg. Which equation can be used to find the weight, w of Box Y?
A=3w-15 1/4=55 1/4
B=w-24 1/2=50 3/4
C= 3w + 15 3/4 = 55 3/4 (my answer)
D=w+22 1/2 = 48 3/4

sorry 3 1/2 for box x box y and 7 are 12 1/4 kg more than box y and total weight is 55 3/4
