What is the R-factor of insulation and what does it equal?
i have looked everywhere and can not seem to find it.

The R-value of insulation (sometimes called the R-factor) is a measure of the resistance to heat flow. In the USA, R-19 insulation (a common grade used to insulate between studs in walls) has a thermal resistance of 19 ft²·°F·h/Btu.
