Don't forget to round your answer to 2 significant figures (from the 11 number);i.e., 2.90588 gallons rounds to 2.9 gallons to two s.f.

1 litre = .2642 US gallons
so 11 litres = 2.9 US gallons
or
1 litre = .21997 Imperial gallons
then 11 litres = 2.4 Imperial gallons
since you spelled it as "liters" I assume you meant US gallons.
Of course there is the
"Wine gallon" which is 3.79 litres, the
"corn gallon" which is 4.405 litres, the
"ale gallon" which is 4.62 litres.
Pardon my non-subtle attempt to suggest you join us and "Go Metric"
so 11 litres = 2.9 US gallons
