A person watching the race noticed that at exactly 10:05 am a ant wandered onto the snails 94-cm mark, and reached the 50-cm mark at exactly 10:06 am. What was the velocity of the ant?
Is the answer 44 cm? Because v= d/t

time is 60 sec (1 min)
it went .44 meters (or 6cm)
velocity=.44/60 m/s= 0.0073m/s
or = 44cm/60sec=.73 cm/s
