5 men for 7 hours to dig 9 holes
1 man for 7 hours to dig 9/5 holes
1 man for 7 รท(9/5) hours to dig 1 hole
1 man for 35/9 hours to dig 1 hole
1 man for 35/18 hours to dig 1/2 hole

35/18 hours = 35/18 * 60 minutes
= 116 2/3 minutes

or

it took 35 man hours to dig 9 holes
it will take 35/9 man hours to dig 1 hole
it will take 35/18 man hours to dig 1/2 hole

but since we only have 1 man working it will take
35/18 hours , same as above
