                need a linear equation for this problem: A car rental company charges a base fee of $25, then an additional $5 for every additional 50 miles

    That is a ten cents per mile driving charge.
Fee = y (in $)
Miles driven = x
y = 25 + 0.1 x
    
Fee = y (in $)
Miles driven = x
y = 25 + 0.1 x
