x = 2 t + (1/2)(2) t^2
and
x = (1/2)(6) t^2
so
3 t^2 = 2 t + t^2
2 t^2 -2 t = 0
t (2 t - 2) = 0
t = 1
x = 3
and
x = (1/2)(6) t^2
so
3 t^2 = 2 t + t^2
2 t^2 -2 t = 0
t (2 t - 2) = 0
t = 1
x = 3
