Let the fraction is x/y so after an increment of 10% numerator will be 11x/10 and after decrement of 50%, the denominator will be y/2 or 5y/10. New fraction will be 11x/5y.
Therefore % of increment = (11x/5y -x/y)*100
= (6x/5y)*100
= 120 (x/y)
Hence fractin will be increase by 120%.
