how many 2/3 are in 1? This is confusing to me. Please help :)

well, there are 3 1/3's in 1, right?

So, since 2/3 is twice as big, there are half that many 2/3's, or 3/2

(3/2)(2/3) = 1

1 / (2/3) = 1 * (3/2) = 3/2 = 1 1/2
