Shush. I'm a bush!
The answer is "gaucho."
Gauchos are Argentine cowboys that live on the plains of Argentina.
Juegos Gauchos gives Gauchos an opportunity to show off their skills.
Here are the answers to the rest:
Note: For me, the questions that aren't in my vocabulary, don't go for a grade. I will only state the answers for the ones that are for a grade.
1. gaucho (Argentinean Cowboys)
2. nadar (to swim)
3. I am unsure about this one, but I think it is casa de cultura
4. No me gusta nada bailar. (I don't like to dance at all.)
5. The audio says: ¿Qué te gusta hacer? (What do you like to do?) You respond with: Me gusta escribir cuentos. (I like to write stories.)
6. Toledo. Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived together peacefully.
7. A mi tampoco. (Me either.)
8. Leer revistas means to read magazines, so the 3rd photo.
9. Having sobremesa. Sobremesa literly means "over the table." It means talking to your family and friends while you let the food settle.
10. No, no me gusta jugar videojuegos. Te gusta jugar videojuegos means "do you like to play video games?" The first "No" is responding to the actual question, then you go on to say, "I don't like to play video games."
11. Me gusta cantar. Cantar means to sing.
12. spending time in Chapultepec Park. It's right next to the heart of the city in Mexico.
13. Que te gusta mas is what the audio said. It means, "What do you like better?" You respond with Me gusta mas dibujar, which means "I like to draw more."
14. Escribir cuentos means to write stories, so the first photo.
15. Plaza. I don't remember much about it, I just know that the plaza was in the center...
16. No me gusta ni patinar ni montaren monopatin.
17. Me gusta *jugar* videojuegos.
18. Cumbia. Drums, maracas, and flutes are examples of instruments Cumbia uses.
19. o....simple...it means or.
20. it a la escuela means to go to school.
For the rest, I received a custom question for each of them. I give you good luck that you get a 100 on the essay questions! ^^
Note: I submitted my test and I got a 100. The essay questions still need to be graded though. At least you know that the multiple answer questions are correct. :)
