4/5 x 10/13

Simplify:

5 and 10 have a common denominator. Its 5. So divide 5 by 5 and you get 1, Do the same with 10 and you get 5. So re-write it as 4/1 x 20/13. Times that and you get 20/13, 13 only goes into 20 once. So its going to be 1 over 13 with a 7 on the top as the remainder of the rest of the numbers leading up to 20. (your answer is 1 7/13)

a good site for math, MathPapa! if you don't know how to multiply fractions, you can put in your fraction and get the answer, and to learn how to do it teres a "step-by-step" button to show you how they did it, so that you can improve your math.
