DFW is 180 miles from Abilene. At the same time, one car leaves Abilene traveling to DFW at a speed of 60 mph while a second car leaves DFW traveling to Abilene at a speed of 70mph. How long will it take the two cars to meet?

distance covered by first car = 60t
distance covered by 2nd car = 70t
60t + 70t = 180
