this is a C1V1=C2V2 type question:

if a container has 100ml of 1.5M Br, what is the concentration in that container?

No. A c1v1 = c2v2 is a dilution question. This one is asking for the concentration but you don't say what units. I assume you want M. The problem tells you it is 1.5 M. You can't have a dilution unless you add more water to it.
