What is the difference between verbal and non-verbal communication skills in technology?

In my opinion, though, non-verbal skills would be how close to perfection you can come in your writing, including grammar, usage, punctuation, etc. Verbal skills would be the words you choose so you don't come across as cold or unfeeling.
