The judges of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom include the President (The Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury), the Deputy President (The Baroness Hale of Richmond), and Justices of the Supreme Courth of the United Kingdom. The Supreme Court is the highest in the whole of the United Kingdom for civil matters, and for criminal matters of England and Wales and Northern Ireland. Judges are appointed by the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister.

The supreme court hears cases that have been upgraded from a lower court, they are often appeals, under the Scotland Act 1998, the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and the Government of Wales Act 2006.
