a student wanted to investigate whether or not the temperature of the water would affect the solubility of sugar she had three glasses of water each with 200 ml of water in them one was at 10 c the second a 25c and the third one was at 40 c she found that the warmer water dissolve more sugar what are the dependent and independent variables.

can you change the water temperature by dissolving more or less sugar

or

can you change the amount of sugar dissolved by changing the water temperature

what depends on what?
