if the coefficients are real, then the complex roots occur in pairs. So, our polynomial is
(x-2)(x-(4-3i))(x-(4+3i))
(x-2)((x-4)+3i)((x-4)-3i)
(x-2)((x-4)^2+3^2)
...
(x-2)(x-(4-3i))(x-(4+3i))
(x-2)((x-4)+3i)((x-4)-3i)
(x-2)((x-4)^2+3^2)
