it costs rs 6500 to make a table.if it is to be sold for a profit of 40% after giving a discount of 13 1/3 %.find market price?

13 1/3% = (40/3)%/100% = 40/300 = 2/15 = 0.23333.

6500(1-2/15) = 6500(15/15-2/15) = $5633.33 After discount.

P = 1.4 * 5633.33 = $7886.67 = Market price.
