two lines past through point (2,4) Line 1 passes through (-2,1) while line 2 passes through (4,0). What is the slope of one of these lines?

The line through (2,4) and (-2,1) has slope 3/4
The line through (2,4) and (4,0) has slope -2

Remember that the slope is

y2-y1

x2-x1
