to simplify (2sqrt(b)-sqrt(3a))(2sqrt(b)+sqrt(3a))

answer is -3a+4b.
how would you get this?

recall that (u-v)(u+v) = u^2-v^2
Now let
u = 2√b
v = √(3a)

and it falls right out
